Labor buttons are brought to you by me, the java script is brought to you by JAVAFILE.COM.  Many are from the Caterpillar strike of 1994/95.  One is a political button against the "Right-to-Work" lie.   I will be adding more soon.

Martin Luther King said:  "In our glorious fight for civil rights,
we must guard against being fooled by false
slogans as 'right-to-work.'  It provides no
'rights' and no 'works'.   It's purpose is to
destroy labor unions and the freedom of
collective bargaining...We demand this fraud be stopped."

Modern labor music can be found at Sold Down The River.org.  Pretty good stuff here.
There is a wonderful piece of writing on playing songs in a riot zone.  Kind of reminds me of the bugler leading the charge.  They typically get cut down quick unless they mix bravery with savy.  "They shut down the WTO!!!"  Somebody has to provide the soundtrack to civil disobedience.  Very cool.

Check out the Workers' Democracy Network.  The labor movement needs to revitalize itself through enforcing its own labor code of protecting all workers.  Through solidarity, we can do it.

This is the website for my local union.  Not to take anything away from the Lord Almighty, but maybe it's better to organize and demand fair treatment and living wages then to pray the boss has the goodness in his heart to offer those necessities of a decent livilihood.

The Strike
Shots Heard Round The World

This song must have something to do with the Haymarket Square Massacre of 1887.  The memorial of the massacre is featured in the song.  I don't quite understand the lyrics though, sorry.  (What do you want?  I'm not 18 anymore)
